Moxiworks - Technology company & Real Estate Platform
MoxiWorks is a global leader in agent productivity and data management.
MoxiWorks began as a tech solution created by and for Seattle-based real estate brokerage, Windermere Real Estate. After several years of hard work, that tech department grew and eventually became its own company in 2012. Since day one, we’ve never stopped innovating. We’ve launched new products, improved existing ones, acquired companies, and consistently grown our talent base. And we’re just getting started.
How we connected
Urban Analog is a long standing partner with Moxiworks. We offer on boarding services for their brokerages and real estate agents. Because we knew the capabilities of their platform so well, they asked us to help with the brand refresh.
First Meeting
We were provided a design spec and asked to review it against the capabilities of the existing platform to ensure that what they wanted to accomplish could be accomplished within their design framework.
Design Meeting Review
Upon review of the design spec we requested a meeting with the developers and the designers so that we could go over what was possible within the existing system. We discussed the limitation of the system with the developers and designers and made changes to the original design to ensure the message remained but that certain design complexities were addressed and alternatives were selected where needed.
Start of Design
We began building out the pages that were going to be low hanging fruit with regard to the design specs. We scheduled out anything that still had complexities that needed further revisions and set up milestones to review with the moxi dev and marketing team, and the website design agency.
Finding solutions for design complexities that conflicted with platform capabilities.
We built and demonstrated alternate solutions when the design complexities exceeded the abilities of the chosen platform. This allowed us to clearly demonstrate what was (or wasn’t) possible so that if alternatives needed to be redesigned by the design agency, they could be built with a better understanding of how the chosen framework would handle the designs.
Hand off and launch
Once we completed the design we met with all the teams to ensure that the final product was ready for launch. We created a back up in case the roll out failed and chose to launch at a time where traffic would be lightest in case something misfired, it would allow us to minimize customer impact. The roll out was a success and, with some minor updates, we were able to push the product live on time and on budget.
