Dog City Seattle

Project Outline

The client had a basic wordpress template install when they first came to us. They had recently changed their brand and needed a site refresh.

Because we were friends of the owner, we also knew that she was a talented artist. We also discussed her love of “propaganda” and “street style” art from people like Shepard Fairey and Banksy. This gave us a lot of great ideas.

Because the original website did not have a lot of high res photos, and we didn’t want to wait to stage a photo session…. We decided to create Illustrations in place of photographs. We stylized these illustrations, using the color palette from the new branding design, to look similar to the bold color blocking art work of the aforementioned street artists.

Contact Forms

To set an appointment, clients were required to fill out an online PDF form that provided details about both, the pets, and their owners.

We had to redesign these forms to align with the new brand. Customer could now fill them out online and mail them in.

In a further effort to simplify the process, we also digitized the forms so that, in the near future, they could automatically be filled out online and automatically entered into the POS/CRM. This will allow full automated check in service for future customers.
